What is a Class 2 Licence in NSW real estate? 

A Class 2 Real Estate Agent Licence allows you to work as a real estate agent, performing sales, leasing, and property management duties under the supervision of a Class 1 Licence holder. 

Is prior experience required before enrolling? 

You must have held an Assistant Agent Certificate of Registration for at least 12 months and gained supervised experience. This experience must be logged and signed by your Licensee in Charge to be eligible for the Class 2 Licence. 

Are there any exams? 

No. This course includes 10 sets of open-book assessments, completed online via our learner portal — with support from experienced trainers. 

How long do I have to complete the course? 

You’ll have 12 months from the day you receive your login. Since the course is self-paced, you can complete it faster depending on your availability. 

How do I apply for my licence after finishing the course? 

Once you’ve completed the course and met the experience requirements, you can apply to NSW Fair Trading for your Class 2 Licence. You’ll need to submit your qualification, completed logbook, and pay the applicable fee.
