What is the Class 2 Real Estate Agent Licence in NSW? 

It’s a real estate licence issued by NSW Fair Trading that allows you to work as a real estate agent (in sales or leasing) under the supervision of a Class 1 Licence holder. 

Do I need to hold an Assistant Agent Certificate first? 

Yes. To apply for a Class 2 Licence, you must have held an Assistant Agent Certificate of Registration for at least 12 months and have logged your work experience under the supervision of a licensee in charge. 

Are there any exams? 

No exams. The course includes 8 open-book assessment sets completed online through our learner portal, with full trainer support available throughout your studies. 

How long do I have to complete the course? 

You’ll have 12 months from the date you receive your login. The course is self-paced, so you can finish sooner depending on your schedule and experience. 

How do I apply for my Class 2 Licence? 

Once you finish the course, you can apply to NSW Fair Trading. You’ll need to submit your qualification, logbook of experience, and meet eligibility and fee requirements.
